Part of the Arnold Rim Trail was closed to all trail users starting July 11th until August 23rd when it was temporarily reopened. It was closed again on Tuesday, August 27th.
The section of the Arnold Rim Trail (described below) is now closed again and will remain closed until 6pm, Friday, August 30th. It will remain open through Labor Day weekend but will be closed again at a date to be announced on this page sometime in September or October. We will announce when the project is completely finished.
The part of the trail that is closed runs from the end of the paved part of the ADA trail at Post #2 to the junction of the Arnold Rim Trail with the side trail that leads to Cedar Center at Post #5. To see where Posts 2 and 5 are located, please download our map.
The community of Mill Woods is doing a major fuel reduction project on their land through which the Arnold Rim Trail runs between those Posts 2 and 5. The Arnold Rim Trail Association deeply appreciates that the community of Mill Woods allows the Arnold Rim Trail to traverse through their property, and we fully support this closure which will bring increased fire safety to Mill Woods specifically and the community of Arnold in general.
