It’s a Wrap — The 2nd Annual Run the Rim is in the books.

191 runners. 167 finishers. Five distances. One finish line celebration at White Pines Lake.

From the 5K loop around White Pines Lake to the 50K point-to-point traverse of the full Arnold Rim — 31 miles, 5,500 feet of climbing, three drainages, and the ancient lava cap ridgeline at 4,500 feet — every distance challenged its finishers.
It was a sold-out event with runners from as far away as Washington and Alabama. The youngest finisher was 7. The oldest was 79. A 72-year spread that says everything about what the ART system is built to be — Trails for Everyone … Forever!
Thank you to every runner, volunteer, aid station crew, and course marker who made Sunday happen. Thank you to all our sponsors — for their generous support.  And a special thanks to our partners at White Pines Lake and the Calaveras Ranger District, Stanislaus National Forest.
