The Arnold Rim Trail Volunteer Trail Maintenance day was off the hook with 21 volunteers on a Saturday morning. The group hiked out 1.64 miles to the creek crossing at Cowell Creek, and worked back to Post 31. Absolutely great morning with trail friends brushing, and raking the trails, cutting back lots of brush that was encroaching our trails. Making way for equestrians, mountain bikers, hikers, and trail runners. Evan with the USFS was out with his chain saw clearing trees from post 27-31 and the beginning of P12, with the help of Toby from the USFS. Thank you Calaveras District Forrest Service!
The Arnold Rim Trail Association is an all-volunteer association without paid staff. We deeply appreciate your support! Donations are welcomed for the many trail enhancements and improvement projects that are currently underway and planned for the near future.
